Make Up Hacks...

5 USEFUL MAKE UP HACKS

Actually, you don’t have to spend hours and hours of your precious time in front of the mirror to get the perfect makeup look. This is because there are all kinds of useful tricks you can learn that would make applying makeup much easier to ensure that you always have the look you aim for. Below are my favourite five make up hacks that have changed my life!

1. Turn eyeliner pencil into gel

Hold your pencil eyeliner under flame for about one second and let it cool down for 15 seconds. This will make the eyeliner softer and easier to apply

2. Check your makeup under different light. Always!

Sometimes you might now have the best light when you apply your makeup in your room. So when you get into your car, for example, check again your makeup. This is because the bright light at the outside may help you see clearer.

3. How to make your eyes look wider

Sweep your mascara towards your nose and not upwards. This helps to make the lashes look fuller and your eyes bigger.

4. Learn proper perfume application

Don’t just spray it. You will smell good at first but then the scent will just wear off. Apply it to your warm pulse points to make the perfume last longer. Apply them behind your ear, inside wrist, inside elbow, behind knee and base of throat.

5. Don’t throw your liquid makeup

Get more out of it and don’t just throw away your liquid makeup in tubes. Cut them open and scoop the remaining into plastic pots or cleaned jars. This is a smart way to save money.

H&M is finally in Kuching!

Yippeee! We are no longer 'sakai' Kuchingnites! You know what I mean? Starbucks is only here 6 years ago if I am not mistaken, when their first Malaysia outlet is in KL,1998. And after a long wait, we have many other international brands coming in, such as Essensuals by Toni and Guy (of course ;)), Padini, Sasa, Sephora, Coach, Shu Eumura, Mac, Esprit, Cotton On, Quicksilver, Guess, La Senza, etc and now H&M, a Swedish multinational retail clothing company, known for its fashion forward clothing for men, women, teenangers and children. The great part of this fashion store is its affordability with good quality clothings.

At last, Kuchingnites can shop till drop at this 33000 square feet fashion store; making it the largest in East Malaysia with H&M Home section. It's what we are waiting for.

In conjuction with this opening, I am very honoured to be included in their special project in celebrating the opening of their 1st store in East Malaysia. They invited me, my hubby Lewis Fong, designers Sereni Linggi and Shentel Lee of Sereni and Shentel Headband, socialite Datin Esmila Safri, fitness club owner Sean Wong, DJ Meng, musician Arabyrd, artist Amey Ali and student and hijabista Edlin Nur to be featured in a special week long photo exhibition at The Spring concourse level. Our photographs was captured by popular fashion photographer Bibo Aswan. Sound exciting!

I would love to share my memorable experience through this blog, capturing this wonderful moment..so I can view back when I am 80 haha...; plus I would like to share some pictures during the VIPs Pre Opening Party!

The VIP Launch Party started at 7pm.. and at about 6.30pm, you can see all the Kuching Vips queueing up to go in for fun and shopping! 20%!!! I am so so so excited..I want to get for myself and my 2 girls...
